Welcome to my blog!

This is my first time writing a blog for myself! 

I've written dozens of blogs at my employer over the past three years. There I would write about radon gas and the science, history, and policies around it. It was a relatively rewarding aspect of my job since after I would write them we would send them out to tens of thousands of people or publish them on press release sites for the media to pick up. After all that, yes, the main reason for a blog these days is to improve your website's "search engine optimizations" or SEO.

 This blog is going to be a place where I write about topics I am currently researching within the world of filmmaking and video creation. New tech, trends in filmmaking and social media, and techniques that I want to learn more about. I think it will be a good place for me to gather my thoughts and communicate what I am learning to improve my craft.

 I will also write up recaps of shoots and projects that I work on. How I landed the job. The planning and pre-production. The shoot and the challenges that I ran into during it. Post-production and editing. Revisions. Then delivery and how the client reacted to the project.

 As a bonus, I think another good use of this blog will be to talk about the films and television shows that I am currently watching, or that I really love and want to tell others about.
